Drug Testing

It's A Matter of Time

It's inevitable that the day will come that you find out that you have to be drug tested. It may be to get a job, or keep your job or even get compensated for an injury at your job. Nonetheless, it's bound to happen, and the luxury of a little advance notice isn't always there. If you know that a drug test is in your near future, use your time wisely. Evaluate your lifestyle honestly. An "occasional smoker" (and that does not mean smoking everyday, but only once a day) may only need a week of abstaining to test clean in a urinalysis, but detection can go back as far as a month.

What To Do As The Zero Hour Approaches

Prayer

Prayer couldn't hurt, but has been found unreliable as a stand alone method.  To date, there have been no confirmed cases of divine intervention in the 11th hour that would back up this method, although many people still use it.

Pickle Juice

Drinking pickle juice by the gallon will flush out any lingering traces of cannabis in your system.  Also olive juice, beet juice, lemon juice, cheap gin, cod liver oil, and embalming fluid have been sworn to do the trick.  You'll flush out your system, but most likely the results of your autopsy will detect the cannabis you recently smoked.

Seriously...

When it comes to drug testing, rely only on credible, researched information.  Assess your situation the minute you are made aware that you will have to take a drug test, and prepare yourself with the best and most reliable strategy.

Donate to Virginia NORML

Virginia NORML is a nonprofit organization, which means we serve a purpose of public benefit rather than pursue profits for our own gain. Any donations we receive help in the fight toward the reform of marijuana laws that result in the arrests of nearly a million Americans every year. Your donations help us to organize, lobby state congress, and educate the public about marijuana law reform.

Some of the donation money is used for lobbying so your donation is not tax deductable.

Volunteer for Virginia NORML

Volunteering for NORML is fun, rewarding, and most importantly vital to the cause. Volunteers are a major role in changing laws and spreading public awareness. Sign up to join our volunteer team!
